I’m Kelli Carrico, an internationally published luxury wedding photographer based in Beckley, West Virginia, and I travel worldwide to serve my couples. Before photography became my full-time career, I was an English teacher—an experience that sparked my love for education and is a big part of why I now enjoy training photographers.
On a personal note, I’m a mom of four, and a lot of my life revolves around car rides and travel sports. Fun fact: my kids range in age from 23 down to 7, so our house is always full of different seasons of life.
Professionally, I’ve spent the last 17 years building a successful business, photographing more than 300 weddings, and my work has been featured in People Magazine and Newsweek. I specialize in luxury events and deliver timeless imagery with consistent color, accurate exposure, and refined, true-to-life skin tones.
Couples often tell me they appreciated not only the final images, but how calm the day felt with me there. I’m known for bringing a steady presence to high-pressure moments, offering clear direction when needed, and creating space for couples to stay present and enjoy their celebration. Since 2014, my husband has been my second shooter, and together we work seamlessly to provide efficient coverage, attentive service, and a reliable team from start to finish.
In addition to serving couples, I train photographers through education, mentorship, workshops, and Raising Luxury Retreats, helping professionals refine their craft, strengthen their branding, and position themselves for higher-end opportunities.
